Arthur Moats To Host Free Football Camp for Youth in Portsmouth, Virginia
Portsmouth, Virginia - (June 21, 2010) Portsmouth native Arthur Moats gives back to his community the best way he knows how – through football. The Buffalo Bill linebacker teams up with Athletes with a C.A.U.S.E. to invite youth ages 8-15 years old to participate in a free football camp. A graduate of Churchland High School, Moats will host the football camp at his alma mater in Portsmouth, Virginia from 8AM to 2PM. Registration will begin at 8AM followed by a host of activities including a technique drills, 7 on 7 games, free lunch and a picture session with the 2010 NFL draft pick.
There will be a host of local coaches, registered dieticians, and athletic trainers participating in the camp. They will be teaching the youth how to take care of their bodies and the best way to maximize their potential as young athletes. They will be introduced to the building blocks of football starting from basic fundamentals and team building.
